Hi! My name is Gemma, I am an art-student-turned-accountant-turned-fluid-artist. Born and raised in the UK, wife-to-be to a very handsome man, and proud mummy to two gorgeous little ladies, I returned to my arty roots after struggling to find satisfaction in the yawn-inducing field of accountancy and I have officially become obsessed!
Being a bit of a control freak, I was very much drawn to Realism as an Art student, so it surprises me that I now work mainly with resin and ink as they are such unpredictable mediums by nature, maybe it's therapy! Art to me is not something to be taken too seriously, which is why you will find me experimenting with all sorts of colours, mediums and techniques and splattering them all over everything from cushions and flip-flops, to bikinis and swimsuits! Art is a means of decoration and expression for me, it makes the world more colourful and more interesting and with GCC Artworks I have made it my goal to bring Art to everyday life, in any way that I can.
