Like a distorted camera lens, this work captures a landscape of delicate floral pinks while subtly disrupting their imprint. The lopsided composition introduces an gentle sense of unease, but it is the bold blocks of indigo and turquoise — contrasting sharply against the softer pinks — that most strongly disarm the viewer, unsettling the work’s initial elegance.
